I’m Liam Tillett, an English teacher and coach from Cape Town. I’ve taught students around the world, from young learners to professionals preparing for the biggest moments of their careers.
My lessons are built on doing: real conversations, purposeful tasks and clear feedback. Grammar and pronunciation are woven in as tools for communication, never dry rules. You stay in control of your learning, and you leave every lesson knowing your next step.

How do online lessons work?
We meet on Google Meet or Zoom, whichever you choose when you book. Your calendar invite has the joining link, so there’s no special software to learn.
Do I need to know my English level?
No. Tell Liam what you want to do with your English, and your first lesson will help find your starting point and priorities.
Which lesson length should I choose?
50 minutes suits most goals, especially exam preparation and business English. 25 minutes works well for quick, regular speaking practice.
Can I move or cancel a lesson?
Yes. Use the private link in your booking email to move or cancel up to 12 hours before your lesson. Closer to the time, message Liam directly.
Do you teach children and teenagers?
Yes. Lessons for young learners and teens are active and supportive. A parent or guardian makes the booking and arrangements.
What do lessons cost?
$30 USD for a single lesson, $28 per lesson in a package of 5, and $26 per lesson in a package of 10.
